The stench of death was everywhere. Blood stained the walls and floor, and the screams of the dying echoed through the caverns. It was a slaughter. The underdark was no place for the weak. Only the strong survived. I was one of the strong. I had been fighting for days, and I was not going to stop until I was the last one standing. I had killed so many enemies, I had lost count. But I was not tired. I was not scared. I was ready for more. The ground shook as another creature charged towards me. It was huge, twice my size, and its teeth were sharp as knives. But I was not afraid. I had faced worse. I leapt forward, my sword piercing the creature's throat. It let out a gurgling cry as it fell to the ground, dead. I was the last one standing. I was the winner.
