Angar the Hull Breaker
NPC Campaign 2Dragon turtle, the Tide of Doom, mother of Alcon; she nearly sank the campaign 2 party's ship on the Harstane Abyss and was left floating in the Astral Sea.
Angar the Hull Breaker, also called the Tide of Doom, is a full-grown dragon turtle and the mother of Alcon. In 1034 PC a mother dragon turtle hunted the party in the Underdark beyond Midzen Id (see The Underdark Road from Midzen Id).
Months later she hunted the party again as they crossed The Harstane Abyss by ship, and almost destroyed it. Olaf ended the fight by putting two bags of holding inside each other: the rift swept him and the dragon turtle into The Astral Sea. Angar is still floating there. Olaf made a deal with Toril, Archon of the Astral Sea (the quest for a relic of Myrkul, in return for guidance through Sigil) and came home by way of Sigil, while the rest of the party limped to shore in their heavily damaged boat.
