Ol' Barry
NPC Campaign 2A villager in a diary of cult murders, and a squid-like thing from the river that the party fought.
Ol Barry appears in a villager's diary that the party read in 1034. When cloaked pilgrims came to the village preaching "retribution for sins past", the abbot of Ilmater was found with his throat torn out. Ol Barry set bear traps, one of which took the arm of Solas's youngest. The villagers killed the pilgrims and threw them down the dry well, and Ol Barry choked the last of them with his own medallion. The diary ends with something wailing and people vanishing.
The party then fought "Ol' Barry, the squid thing from the river". The sources don't say whether the villager and the creature were one being.
