The Diary and Ol' Barry

The party read a villager's diary. Cloaked pilgrims bearing a whip-on-a-chain emblem had come to the village preaching "retribution for sins past". The village abbot, a priest of Ilmater, was found with his throat torn out, and a letter was sent to Wild Harbour (Wildharbour). Ol Barry set bear traps, one of which took the arm of Solas's youngest. When Eadric saw the robed strangers moving the traps, the villagers killed the pilgrims and threw them down the dry well, and Ol Barry choked the last of them with his own medallion. The final entry reads: "Something's coming… it wails… people are vanishing."

The party then fought Ol' Barry, a squid-like thing from the river.
