Ilmater
NPC Campaign 2Campaign 4God of endurance, now called the Bound Martyr.
Ilmater is the god of endurance and of bearing the burdens of others. He is now called the Bound Martyr, and his symbol is two hands bound by a golden chain (see The New Gods).
- Campaign 2: in "the Diary" the party found, the abbot of a village near Wildharbour was a priest of Ilmater. He was murdered by cloaked pilgrims, and the diary's last line is a plea to Ilmater.
- Campaign 4: the Barons' Council of Sandwater Slough sits in The Barons' Council Hall, the former Temple of the Bound Martyr. When slavery was abolished, the city downgraded his worship, arguing that a god of imposed burden no longer suited it. A small shrine is still kept by decree, tended by the retired monk Brother Halvek. Brother Oils once ran "the Bound Martyr" as a grift at the Pallid Spire and fled when a real cleric turned up.
Also known as The Bound Martyr.
