Dormant:
While wearing the cloak, you can use an action to cast the guidance spell.
While you can see the night sky and are wearing the cloak, you can use an action to cast the augury spell. When you do, the omens are represented by the number of shooting stars that appear in the sky:
- Three or more shooting stars, for good results
- One shooting star, for bad results
- Two shooting stars, for both good and bad results
- Nothing, for results that aren't especially good or bad
Once this property of the cloak has been used, it can't be used again until you complete a long rest.
Awakened:
While wearing the Starlight cloak, you can prepare an additional spell each day.
While wearing the Starlight cloak, your spells attack and damage modifiers are increased by 1
While you can see the night sky and are wearing the cloak, you can use an action to cast the Scry spell or the Legend Lore spell.
Exalted:
While wearing the Starlight cloak, you can use your arcane recovery an additional time each day.
Your spell damage modifier increases by 2.
As a reaction, you can add your Intelligence modifier to your AC until the end of your next turn, this can be used a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier.
In campaign 2
This is Scribble's robe, recognised early in 1034. While wearing it he can prepare an extra spell, gains +1 to spell attack and damage, and under the night sky can cast Scry or Legend Lore.
In the end it became The Starfeather Cloak.
