The Crossed Spears is the cheapest and easiest of the three inns of Leau, popular with adventurers. Next door, sharing its large stable with room for horses and carriages, is the single-storey, half-timbered shop of the old half-elf trader Leeman Nison, with carved wooden doors. He is keenly interested in artefacts from the tomb of the lich Hanaro in the far south-west mountains, and warns adventurers off seeking the lich himself.
