Lord Cedric's allies, with the Silent Echo (General Ilyana Sorn), were mass-dominating Shade Hollow and killing townsfolk to force the party to release him from the iron flask. The party baited them, let Cedric out and pressed him for information. He survived his fireball contingency, then died, saying something like "when a god dies, keep it that way". The party killed Cedric, the Silent Echo and the blackmailer. Thoren Blackthorn keeps Cedric's soul in a box. Reid Ransom met Durn, a mad dwarf who seems to see through the larger plot.
