Inspector Corin

It emerged that Taz'Or Ka had visited Meat, a restaurant in Hysteria, and struck a deal on his hunt catches, and had been hunting north of town; Brother Oils handed over the baby after reviving it. By morning the town knew: Ferryman Randol was missing and suspected of the theft, and Inspector Corin, a deerstalkered and inept detective, had been brought in with his brilliant assistant Halfson. Advised to kill the inspector, Oils tried blackmail, failed, and preached a sermon against baby theft.

Slick learned that Thistlejack is the blood of an ancient fey, with a cocaine-like effect on hell-touched creatures; nightly droplets ward off bad dreams, and the supply cannot be replicated. The party learned that an influence makes idiots go missing through the Lady of Ravens, and that all three of the town's gods are effectively taking sacrifices. Rainclaw spoke with a very knowing, spooky old elf (probably Saev Althene-Rho), smelled aberration meat at Meat and got aberrant ears; Uldrick had a meal.
