The bleeding-eye ship

Sailing a small vessel, with Scribble badly manning the crow's nest, the party came upon a ship adrift in The Harstane Abyss, its crew unconscious or dead with bleeding eyes. Its journal identified it as The Sceptre, a Carbonhill trading vessel under Captain Tog and first mate Orbul, refitted on a contract from Upper Cus. It had hugged the coast toward The Beastlands to avoid the Straits of Gor, stayed out of sight of Saratan, and traded poor ore at Reidmark Haven, where three young goblin stowaways came aboard. They carried a bleeding-eye plague (Sight Rot) that spread through the crew. The journal ends "No further entries".
