The Sceptre

The party found the Sceptre adrift in The Harstane Abyss in 1034, its crew dead or dying with bleeding eyes. Its journal names Captain Tog and first mate Orbul. Upper Cus refitted it from a barnacle-covered wreck and crewed it with green hands. It hugged the coast toward The Beastlands to skip the Straits of Gor, avoided being seen from Saratan, and docked at Reidmark Haven to trade ore too poor to make garden tools. The starving city wanted food instead, and three young goblin stowaways came aboard. They carried Sight Rot, which bit through the crew, starting with Orbul. The journal ends "No further entries".
