Thistle Jack

The party forced open the sealed door of the Conservatory of Necessary Wildness and found jungle with no birds or insects. A note reading "Don't let him count your teeth" appeared in Slick's pocket. A huge uncorrupted guardian, furious that "Jack" had been released, attacked; the party killed the giant. At a recently occupied tent camp they learned humanoids had been paid "to keep Jack here", and found the line "Is this evaporation worth it". The rhyme of Thistle Jack, Hollow-Eye, was shared the same night.
