Recap
In the Hall of Navigators the party found tuning forks, one more worn than the rest, and a screen with a tree burned into it; something had been playing notes there until they arrived. The party judged the room some 600 years old (its machinery in fact dates from about 580 to 640 PC, some 400 to 470 years earlier) and unpowered for centuries, yet it is linked to a desertification only thirty years old: the party concluded the desertification is an acceleration of what the room once manipulated, caused by the lifting of Herentor's veil. Rainclaw slapped Thistle Jack, whose blood tastes of mulled wine; Slick kept a vial, found The Seven Journals of Mechanus in a residential library, and gave the Baron more poison. The top of the Wildness turned out to emerge at the House of the Poisoned Tear. Jack's rules were collected, and every child in the city is now singing his song.
