The Stargate

The party realised the dragonborn influx lines up with the waning of the Slough's imperial society and of slavery. Slick killed two gem dragonborn with a poisoned kebab. Back in Rillachor Slick identified the corruption orb as a creature under shapechange and then clone. In an amphitheatre, wall crystals held the city's administrative diary, ending with engineering formulae about crossing material realities and The Great Evaporation, a terraforming delivered by The Star Scorpion Guild about 150 years before the diary ends. The amphitheatre is a giant stargate of magic brass, crashed to the ground when its chains failed, perhaps once anchored at Three Anchors Square. The elves had pierced Herentor's spell, with consequences. Other districts: the Conservatory of Necessary Wildness, the Hall of Navigators, the Government Quarter and the Custodians' Annex.
