Turbert Verney
NPC Campaign 2Prospector, genius and entrepreneur credited with discovering broomstone's levitation centuries ago; an orphanage in Fort Obsidian bears his name.
Turbert Verney was a prospector, genius and entrepreneur who, many centuries ago, discovered the levitating power of Broomstone, the mineral that lifts the airships of Duskmere. His story is told at The Duskmere Dirigible Platform, in the offices of Duskmere Enchantment Aircraft & Dirigibles.
In Fort Obsidian, Turbert Verney's Institution for Ne'er-do-wells and Itinerant Youngsters is an orphanage run on the belief that if the children were not trained to work in the factories they would as likely be sent to the offering. It is connected to the thieves' guild, Waukeen's Shadow, through the nearby Bax Snax Tavern.
