Duskmere
Place Campaign 2Campaign 4The now defunct and undead occupied capital of the Area formerly known as the Scars.
Duskmere, "the Unending City", was the capital of The Scars and the home of the world's most prestigious school of magic, The Prismatic College. It was allied with Creatis. Its sights included:
- Accolade Plaza;
- the dirigible platform of Duskmere Enchantment Aircraft and Dirigibles, telling how Turbert Verney founded Broomstone levitation centuries ago;
- the Metropolitan Museum of the Occult;
- the House of the Morning, where the Order of Aster watch the winter-solstice rainbow through the Grand Oculus on Mt Dawnbreak, home of the Sun Soul Monastery;
- the House of Vigilance, devoted to Helm;
- the Riverman Bistro.
Its fall. Duskmere fell to the undead in 1019 PC, the year of The Skyfire (The Fall of Duskmere). When the campaign 2 party boarded a Duskmere airship in 1034 PC, its recorded announcement said the flight to Branestone was "5,841 days delayed", a rough figure.
- Campaign 2:
- The vampire brothers Saber and Clef Neverthirst came from Duskmere.
- Scribble sought the airship's power source there.
- In 1034 PC Scribble collapsed the Prismatic College.
- Campaign 4: the party heard that Duskmere is still overrun by undead, and that "Brainstone" (Branestone?) might be a lead.
