- Blink Dog Pack: A pack of blink dogs appears, initially curious and playful, but if threatened, they teleport around to flank and startle the adventurers.
- Lost Satyr Festival: A group of satyrs mistakenly believes the party are guests at their ongoing festival, inviting them to partake in enchanted wines that can heal or cause hallucinations.
- Entangled Treants: A pair of treants caught in a magical battle with invasive, thorny vines ask the party for help; freeing them might gain the party allies or valuable plant-based magical items.
- Goblin Riding Giant Owls: A raiding party of goblins on giant owls swoops down, attempting to snatch items from the party before flying away into the treetops.
- Feywild Mirage: The landscape changes suddenly, showing visions of the party's deepest desires or fears, potentially revealing secrets or providing insights into personal quests.

- Wild Hunt: The eerie sounds of horns and the baying of hounds signify that the Wild Hunt is passing through; the party must hide or risk being swept up in this deadly chase.
Location
The party approaches a magically concealed command post nestled in a small clearing near a vast, simmering volcano surrounded by a dense, murky swamp. This forward base is cleverly hidden by illusions and protective wards, with enchanted totems pulsing faintly around its perimeter, designed to obscure the site from both prying eyes and scrying spells.
NPCs and Background
Duskwhisper Thorne (Thalira the Weavesword): Posing as an emissary from the Unseelie Court, Duskwhisper is a dark elf sword dancer wizard with a disguise of twilight shadows and eyes of deep violet. He is actually a neutral party, manipulating the Fey forces for his own mysterious agenda. His cloak shimmers like the night sky filled with faint stars, and he is here under the guise of assisting the Summer Court with tactical decisions against the red dracolich rumored to be guarding a powerful artifact inside the volcano. Duskwhisper has access to Protocol Sigma
Scout (Name: Thorian): The son of one of the party members, acting as a messenger within the camp. Thorian, visibly stressed and overburdened by his duties, is unaware of the true identity or intentions of Duskwhisper.
Seelie Court Advisors:
- Bob: A light-hearted elf with a whimsical smile, dressed in bright greens and yellows, he provides levity and surprising insight into Fey politics.
- Sue: A serene elf who hums ancient melodies, dressed in dawn-like soft blues and pinks, offering profound wisdom through her observant silence.
- Max: An energetic young elf with an eclectic style, embodying curiosity and a mix of various historical garments and styles.
Emmantiensien's Influence
The three advisors can be overtaken at will by Emmantiensien, a towering archfey with bark-skinned form hosting moss and flowers. When he controls them, vines and leaves rapidly grow out of their faces and heads, only to vanish once his influence is lifted. This allows Emmantiensien to remotely monitor and control events from the Summer Palace to the north.
Encounter Dynamics
As the party arrives at the command post, they may first notice the slight dissonance between the whimsical advisors and the sinister Duskwhisper. Thorian, busy running messages, may initially mistake the party for new arrivals expected by Duskwhisper.
Duskwhisper, curious about the party's strength and intentions, may initially assess them under the pretense of discussing strategy against the dracolich. Depending on the party's interactions, they might uncover his true identity and his manipulation of the frogmen, who have already moved towards the volcano.
Emmantiensien might choose to intervene directly during the encounter, either to guide the advisors or to provide cryptic assistance to the party, with his influence manifesting visually and dramatically.
The scenario sets the stage for intrigue, potential conflict, and the uncovering of secrets, with the looming threat of the red dracolich adding urgency to their mission. This encounter allows for strategic discussions, possible combat, and interaction with high-stakes political maneuvers within the Feywild.
Notes : in fact over 200 Frogmen have headed to the volcano, an entire tribe led by :
- Mystic Sage Frogman (Name: Croakwise): A frogman sage with deep knowledge of ancient magics and the Feywild's lore. He is older, with a staff topped with a glowing crystal, and appears more thoughtful than his peers.
- Warrior Leader Frogman (Name: Muckmaw): A formidable frogman warrior, known for his bravery and strength, adorned with trophies from past conquests and carrying a massive bone club.
