The queen

Shoshana, Crown Of The Unseelie, is missing a powerful artefact, The Spires of Conflux

her Character sheet : https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/3151210-shoshana-crown-of-the-unseelie

Shoshana also knows the location of part of a scroll that has been lost and will trade that information for

Shoshana is a powerful archfey, when they travel to the material plane they often assume the face of Auntie Suzie, a wood hag, The Unseelie court will be hard to find, through a labyrinth of increasingly dense woods, the party will need to use magic or force to continue through,

Using magic or force will damage the forest. The Queen will berate them for each insult:

  1. Stolen Spire

  2. The Fiendish essences they have brought into her presence (Varez, Olafs Hand, Sams Axe etc)

  3. Damage to the Forest to get here.

  4. The expectation they have that she knows of the fragment of the scroll (though she does)

Twisted columns, trees forced into unnatural growth by royal gardeners, are scattered haphazardly through the hall. Curtains of shadows hide blood-soaked alcoves. Drawn back for times of celebration, the gaping crevasses reveal uninvited guests captured for the amusement of the court. Riotous blooms of nightshades and blood warts glow red in the evening, providing a maddening light to the misshapen court. The throne of the Unseelie Court is shaped like a great shadow dragon, a creature of midnight and darkness, like the queen herself.

She will demand of them a toll, for the information she shares.
She will share that two of the members of her wild hunt have taken something from her, and the party could resolve 4 of their owed favours if they returned the item, and the head of the traitor.

The Wild Hunt Members

Brokenstone Vale is where one is believed to have escaped to, Her name is Millithla, and she has stolen a ring from the queen, the ring is a ring of Truth Telling
Milithla can be found in the ruins of a church after the beasts within it are dispatched (were beasts) and uses the following stat block : https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/1528976-nintra-siotta

The Other was believed to have escaped to the Horrid Mire. Perhaps to consort with Malabog, the king of the formorian giants. Their name is Figment, and they are a shadow hunter, they have stolen a luck stone. They will be encountered in the bog, likely they will rig up small bags of fire flies in the trees to draw the party to a place of their choosing. They would require a 30 survival check to track. They will wait until the party is engaged by wildlife of the bog before springing their attack from 120 feet away.

Dwarves

Time is running faster here, and many weeks may pass in the real world. This should be communicated to the players, the Dwarven cities are here in a huge Terrarium made of pure residuum. Time is slowed further within the residuum make sure the party know this. Every generation a tithe is taken to keep the society prospering, that tithe is in Dwarves, to Fuel the bubble. If the bubble is dispelled, the tithe is no longer necessary bar a few for the amusement of the court. The number will be reduced, the Queen is not interested in returning the Dwarves as when the contract was broken (calculate this as 16 x the number of days since) the Marut enforcing the contract apperated away.

In campaign 2

The party reached the court in 1034. A maze, the Labyrinthine Gardens, guards its gates. See Shoshana, Crown Of The Unseelie.
