The City Beneath Xinstock

Place Campaign 1 · The Skyfire Chronicles

The ruins of an older, elven city below Xinstock, now under its crater lake.

Beneath Xinstock lie the remains of an older city. In 1019 PC an archaeologist friend of the Fatemakers was researching "the older city below this one", and Cirella spent several weeks helping him search for "the city underneath the city". After Xinstock was teleported away, a lake filled the crater it left; settlers lashed wreckage into the floating village that grew into New Xinstock, and a profitable trade grew up in diving below the waves for ancient elven relics. Many of those expeditions were lost to unknown dangers.
