Cirella was a player character in the Skyfire Chronicles (campaign 1) and one of The Fatemakers, the heroes of The Skyfire.

Origins

Cirella is a tiefling of Levistus's line. Her father was a talented blacksmith, but mistrust of their race kept drying up his trade, and the family moved from town to town; having never had a proper home, she grows itchy when she isn't travelling. She learned smithing without ever becoming good enough to follow him into it.

As a child she dug a simple trinket out of a forest floor. Years later she learned it was valuable, and still couldn't part with it. That was the start of a life of archaeology: explorations and dungeon crawls that filled her collection, mostly with rubbish, which her forge skills let her improve and sell on. Only the most valuable finds stay with her, in small hidden caches marked on elaborate maps that only she can read.

Gond. She paid religion little mind until she looted an abandoned temple of Gond and found its backrooms full of artefacts and inventions. She tinkered there, improving what she found and taking the best of it, and has prayed to Gond ever since, for the passion of creation. Gond's faithful destroy their inventions as an offering; Cirella can't bring herself to, and hoards hers instead. Most Gondars who know her think her undevout, and the time she relieved fellow worshippers of their offerings to Gond did not help.

Allies. She has saved the lives of several fellow archaeologists, and a few trusted scholars have been allowed to see some of the lesser pieces of her collection.

In the Skyfire Chronicles

Cirella is a cleric of Gond (Forge Domain) with the Rhythm of an Orcish Forge feat. She was the party's scribe and crafter. In June 2019 she spent two days as a glowing, humming platinum egg. She revivified Braggum in October 2019, helped an archaeologist find "the city beneath the city" in Xinstock, and was invited by Tucker to restore his castle.

She held blueprints in Giant for a Mechanical Beholder, an Apparatus of the Crab, Obsidian Flint Dragon Plate and a Shield of the Uven Rune, and she made Gond's Airfoil for Bragg. Her other gear included scrying, the spider-mace The Iron Recluse, the fire-proof Plate of the Calamity, Grobnak's Juicing Stick with its Alchemy Jug, and the Rock of Goblin. She wanted guns (see Ryan the Gunsmith), and came to carry the +3 firearm Bad News, and visited the Forge in November 2020.

In 2021 she became a cabbage after drinking a potion and nearly died to Bral's pyremaul; a month later she rained Firestorms on The Thing of Sadness and planned to ward Luktow with Forbiddance.
