The Owlbear Den

In the wild, Taz'Or Ka found the owlbear den: a teenage owlbear with two heads, one rotting and draining black ichor from a hole in its throat, and a 20-foot adult fighting off a lesser corruption. Spotted, he fled in a frantic chase and escaped into water by the tip of his tail.

In town the party met Brother Oils selling snake oil; only Uldrick believed him. They planned the Ember Parlour gala heist (a strangely reinforced cellar door, fewer guards during the event) and argued over whether to open the envelope. Uldrick spent the night talking with Branock. At The Bent Compass the server Kett delivered a package addressed to the party: a platinum letter opener.
