The Ember Parlour is a three-storey estate in Highspire Court, Sandwater Slough, overlooking the southern olive groves: pale stone, open balconies, tiled floors and hanging braziers burning perfumed oils. It hosts private dinners, galas, exhibitions and invitation-only auctions.
The Baron believed one of its patrons, Proudsimba, had his golden envelope in a reinforced cellar. At a gala on 2026-03-18 Slick set a fire as cover and Uldrick retrieved the envelope; a second, larger explosion in the south bedrooms was not the party's doing. The fireworks used had been stolen from The Driftwhisper Amphitheatre.
