The Bent Compass

The Bent Compass is a modest inn in Sojourn's End, Sandwater Slough, serving caravan crews and short-term travellers, with clean, undecorated rooms and a little stable space. It leans almost comically far forward over the road and the canal; a great deal of coin has gone into stopping it tumbling in, and heavily engineered scaffolding and ropes anchored across the street, inspected regularly, keep it standing. Mugs slide on its floors. Taz'Or Ka lodges there, and the party regroups there between jobs.
