Vistas Landing
Place Campaign 2The capital of Saratan, atop the mighty crab Karkos
Vistas Landing is the capital of Saratan: a Roman-style city partly built on the back of the gargantuan crab demigod Karkos, which the party called "Crab Town". It is ruled by a Queen.
In campaign 2 (1034 PC):
- The party worked the Vistas Landing job boards, which posted a Needle Lord above the Straits of Gor, the Canaloth tongue for the reagent bank, missing palace deliveries at Hickory Hollow, merfolk by the lighthouse and missing Harvest members at Fargrow.
- They attended the Nightpeak Ball.
- In Return to Vistas Landing they handed over the chest, which was locked in a vault inside Karkos. The Queen keeps access to it through a bracelet that bites into her skin.
- Master Longhand later ran a Bragglands embassy from the city.
The ferry The Cordata calls at Vistas Landing a day after the Chitin Isles dig, four days out of Luggard Dror. Headmaster Ib runs the woodsman's academy here.
Also known as Vista's Landing, Vistas' Landing, Crab Town.
