The SCP
Faction Campaign 4Aberrant hunters operating in five cities; the party's main employer in the Godscar.
The SCP (Secure Contain Protect) investigate "creatures that don't belong", beings summoned by magical power. They arrived in Sandwater Slough a few weeks before the Low Lantern flood and run an office in the Gutterline Warrens, near The Tallow Stair, under the excitable Gopdelina Widgettop; Dr Leith is one of their researchers. They are competent but stretched, and they distrust Marya Velcrow.
They confirmed the corruption the party destroyed beneath the city as the largest infestation they had seen. As restricted knowledge they told the party they operate in five cities: the Slough (the worst case), the island city of Xinstock, West Keep (between the Xinsi Empire and The Therian Confederacy), The Chitin Isles and Reidmark Haven (cannibals, a former goblin colony, and a tale that all goblins were cursed there, perhaps by the Stormlord). Their contract with the party pays 62 gp a day plus leather armour and a black cloak, 100 gp per aberrant body, and was extended to hunting dragons; they are also weighing the cleared vivisector village as a forward base. Taz'Or Ka carries an SCP deputy badge.
Also known as SCP, Secure Contain Protect.
