Agrot

NPC Campaign 2 · After Skyfire

Ogre chieftain driven out of Wildharbour by Glix and Glux, whom the party backed in the arena.

The party first met Agrot in the south early in the campaign. After a running fight in which they killed his warriors Xebig and Egork, they reached a ceasefire with him, though his ogres kept calling them "invaders", and promised to return on 20 Midyear.

Agrot had ruled Wildharbour until Glix and Glux took it from him with power granted by The King In Yellow. In 1034 the party set out to restore him: they bribed Tomrah to rig the bouts of The Arena in Agrot's favour, and the arena ended in a free-for-all in which the party and Agrot prevailed against the twins.

His name is also spelled Agrok.

His full style is High Exarch Agrot of the Khevasa Wildlands, First of his Name, Breaker of Skulls, the Twice Burnt, Father of three (maybe four) ogres, Exile in the East, Eater of a Whole Pig and Overlord of Dem Der Ogres. He is immense, not just obviously strong but overflowing his makeshift throne, his furs and leathers and the two iron-banded chains across his chest, and he wields a rusted scythe. After his banishment he set up at Ogre Home, a former mining camp above an abandoned fishing village on the eastern coast, with his advisor Irok.
