Wildharbour

Near Wildharbour a Deathrider tried some large necromancy; Xosomasaux sniped it. A drunken goliath and the Watcher raised zombie ogres, skeletons and a juggernaut of bone and meat, and SAM took a lightning bolt from Olaf ("acceptable losses").

The party's intelligence: the siblings Glix and Glux, mercenaries, owned Wildharbour. Their rise had been rapid; they took the city from Agrot with power from someone dressed in yellow who vanished into the crowd, The King In Yellow, "an old wish of a god that could grant any wish". The Watcher carried an artifact that channelled demonic power. Many goliath lieutenants were based in The Rose Keep. Tomrah (Tomra Beast-Breaker) wanted single combat, Skaren commanded the Crispy Guards, and Irok wanted to help Agrot in the arena. Xosomasaux told Scribble he was an agent of the Bragglands with no plans to kill other wizards, though Scribble's Insight roll was poor.

The party shadowed the army back toward Wildharbour, slowing it with Plant Growth. Their plan: send Xosomasaux in to assassinate the Watcher and other lieutenants under Nondetection, then hype Agrot to take the crown from Glix and Glux in the arena, staying a few days ahead of Tomrah's barge of beasts.
