Thekko brought to heel

The party brought Thekko (Thekallan The Vigilant) back from the void and left Kenway dead in the Astral Sea. After tense negotiations they traded Thekelan's contract for an infernal contract granting a demon army, with no soul-swapping. When Thekko tried to flee, Scribble hit him with Mass Suggestion; Thekko counterspelled at 9th level, and Scribble counterspelled the counterspell with his own 9th-level slot. Thekko warned that "you need a real good place to summon an army", and that Dhum would be looking for one. Meanwhile Xosomasaux was underwater, stealing a chest from Azguk Willix.

Quorlinn's Verse 12 now named him "the Deceiver" where he had signed as "the Trickster", and Scribble was "both proud and concerned as bird-dad". The party discussed the three-part spell to sever the Pact Primeval (Sunder Infernal Pact), with three goals: break SAM's contract, break the curse on the kenku, and break Dhum's contract with Orcus. It needs a 20,000 gp diamond and can be safely cast only once a century. The party reached level 18.
