Sunder Infernal Pact
Lore Campaign 2A homebrew 10th-level abjuration that severs an infernal pact made under the Pact Primeval, gathered by Scribble in three parts.
Sunder Infernal Pact is a 10th-level abjuration (cleric and druid) that severs an infernal pact between two entities, provided the pact was formed under the Pact Primeval. It consumes a diamond worth 20,000 gp, works on a target in sight, and cannot be countered. It can safely be cast only once a century: a second casting risks a DC 26 Intelligence save, failure costing the caster 10 points of Intelligence.
Scribble gathered the spell in three parts in 1034. One lay with Shoshana in the Feywild and the third in Mechanus. The party had three goals for it: break SAM's contract, break the curse on the kenku, and break Dhum's contract with Orcus. Scribing it to a scroll was very risky, and making scrolls at the forge of Austerity needed a willing sacrifice.
