Quorlinn
NPC Campaign 2Campaign 3Kenku trickster god, created or awakened by Scribble, his 'godson'; the Feathered Deceiver of the new pantheon.
Quorlinn is the god of the kenku and a divine trickster. Kenku scripture describes him as the failed creation of an embarrassed sky god, and says he lives in Finchnest on the Beastlands outer plane.
Quorlinn owes his godhood to Scribble, who created or awakened him.
Campaign 2. In November 2022 (real time) Scribble gained the boon Tolerated of Quorlinn, which gave him a 30 ft flying speed and the spell Shadow's Door. Scribble came to regard the god as his "godson" and planned to go to the Beastlands to "wrassle with being a dad to a deity". He also planned to found envoys of "the Corvid" with a Quorlinn shrine in Fort Obsidian, and even to install Quorlinn "as the new Mystra". Quorlinn's scripture grew as the campaign went on: Verse 7 tells how "the divine trickster, Quorlinn, bestows upon his children the gift of creation", and by Verse 12 he signs himself the Deceiver rather than the Trickster. One goal of the spell Sever the Pact Primeval was to break the curse on the kenku. Woodchop runs Quorlinn's cult in The City of Birds, assisted by Scribble's Magen. In the final battle, Scribble's plan included asking his godson to shield Origin Island from Dhum.
Campaign 3. Among the gods the party rallied against The Harsh was "the Feathered Deceiver, Woodchop's squeeze". The Feathered Deceiver is Quorlinn, although the older table of The New Gods lists the title against Mask.
Scribble kept a shrine to Quorlinn in the east of Vistas Landing.
Also known as The Trickster, The Deceiver, Quorlin, The Feathered Deceiver, Feathered Deceiver.
