Recap
A recap written after this session covers the opening mystery so far.
The party woke after fighting a bogoloff in a dream they had all shared; the creature was exactly what Thoren Blackthorn had imagined. Governor Crane held a town meeting: all was safe, Lord Cedric and his mercenaries would secure the mine, miners would be paid until it reopened, and Godrick, brother of the missing foreman Bodrick, would oversee the investigation, although he had never approved of Bodrick's marriage to Cato.
Reid Ransom escorted Lady Eudora to the square after pocketing a locket from her house, and took the tailor Tulla on a date to learn about the governor's daughter, Evelina Crane, who is very magical and wasting away. Kael Sunstrike learned that a mass dream needs a powerful wizard. Lady Eudora and Marlo, whom the party had saved from flamewyrms, called Cedric a blowhard. A second shared dream featured a giant three-storey mushroom stomping through town.
Open questions: why Bodrick tunnelled straight down for weeks, and what Protocol Theta did; it went into the mine in a cage, and the cage is now empty.
