• Mechanics:
  • Scrubbers: The engineered beasts appear as amorphous, semi-transparent entities that can alter their form to consume various types of evidence. They are equipped with both magical and physical digestion capabilities, allowing them to break down spells, artifacts, and even mundane items into nothingness.
  • Lifespan: Scrubbers evaporate 48 hours after deployment or if they are slain. This self-destruction ensures they leave no evidence of their own existence.
  • Deployment: Jorim discreetly releases Scrubbers at sites where The Eightfold has operated. They are typically invisible to the naked eye unless revealed by specific magical means.
• In-Game Discovery: The party might encounter a scene where evidence inexplicably vanishes before their eyes, or they might capture a fleeting glimpse of a Scrubber during its work. Investigating these phenomena could lead them to discover the existence of Protocol Theta.
