Event Campaign 2About three hundred years before 1034 PC, Burzum broke into the Genesis Machine at the Nascent Fields and tore out its Soul Luxon, ending the first generation of warforged in the south.
About three hundred years before 1034 PC, Burzum, then leader of the orcs, tricked Leaxis into letting him into The Genesis Machine at The Nascent Fields and tore out The Soul Luxon. The ripple disabled the first-generation warforged nearby, and the line of living, feeling Gen 1 warforged ended there; everything the machine made afterwards was Gen 2 (see Warforged Generations). Burzum, then about thirty-four, took the Luxon with him to The Empire of Soot; some six years later, at forty, he founded Luggard Dror (around 740 PC).
The ripple could not pass Herentor's Veil, so about a thousand Gen 1 warforged in the north survived, SAM among them.
A second, separate silence fell on the Fields around 1018 PC, when the machine's new bodies stopped coming to life at all; it lasted until the party restarted the machine in 1034 PC (Restoring the Soul Luxon).
