The Nascent Fields

Place Campaign 2 · After Skyfire

A facility for the creation of automatons, as well as a location for geological 'extraction'

A large research facility in a small town with limited facilities otherwise.

The research into the Genesis machine is run by Viola Kamara, these automated factories create warforged, though for the past 16 or so years (since about 1018 PC, around the time of the last emperor's death, by coincidence), no living warforged have been created at all and why the creation of their bodies continues unabated, none have gained sentience. About once a month, the Machine spits out a warforged body. And for several hundred years before that, only the more emotionless and utilitarian Warforged (Gen 2) were created here. (Gen 1) like SAM have not been created by this factory since Burzum's raid about 300 years ago. For the past sixteen years, since about 1018 PC, only husks have been created, with no life spark at all.

In campaign 2

The party learned in 1034 that the one living warforged made here in 16 years was the bulky pirate warforged, Duhm, and that the pirates had stolen a warforged body from the Fields. In the same year the party restarted The Genesis Machine.
