2. Lumber Price Fixing:

• The Scheme: While the city's focus is drawn to the agricultural crisis, a more sinister plan unfolds in the shadows. The price of lumber is being artificially inflated, crippling the economy of a specific region rich in a powerful and mysterious resource known as the 'source sphere.'
• Objective: The ultimate goal is to impoverish the region, making its inhabitants desperate and thus more susceptible to "support" from an enigmatic and possibly malevolent group called the Eightfold.

Ministerial Involvement and Actions

1. Yelena Greenroot: She's at the forefront, trying to combat the blight. As she digs deeper with the help of experts and adventurers, she might begin to notice inconsistencies or magical traces that point to a deliberate summoning of the blight.
