The Panopticon Zenith
Place Campaign 3The Headquarters of the Vigils Custodians
In January 2024 the party found the Panopticon's drow soldiers, including Brother Thaladrin (whom Kael Sunstrike knew) and Brothers Turvin and Troff, holding a female bugbear with mechanical limbs who had carried out a bombing in Rookfall, captured with two more explosive devices.
The Panopticon later fell, and the Vigil's Custodians who were left retreated to The Archive of Echoes.
Scabard notes
The Panopticon Zenith stands as a testament to elvish craftsmanship and arcane majesty. Towering over the city of Rookfall, its base is sturdy and elegant, with sweeping curves and delicate filigree typical of elvish architecture. As the structure ascends, it transitions into a breathtaking, oversized observation deck, seemingly floating in the sky. Adorned with lush gardens and intricate carvings, the top of the Panopticon emits soft glowing lights, creating a serene and enchanting aura. This magical edifice serves as the headquarters of the Vigils custodians, where knights, clerics, and scholars gather to train, study, and strategize under the watchful eye of the High Cantor.
