The Drylands
Place Campaign 3Shade Hollow's industrial district, built around its tin mine pit.
The Drylands are the industrial district of Shade Hollow, along the northern and eastern edges of The Merchant's Quarter. At their heart is the Drylands Pit, the tin mine on which the town depends, worked hard under a half-orc foreman. By 1040 PC a tin boom had made the district busier than ever, with carts rolling over the Ironvein and Misthold bridges. The district also holds Shadehollow Preparatory College, Beast's Bounty and, north of the pit, Lockhaven Manor.
In late 1040 PC the foreman Borak vanished after tunnelling down to a geode, and Lord Cedric's mercenaries took over the mine (see Shade Hollow).
