The Rusted Anchor

The Rusted Anchor is the tavern in Shade Hollow's Merchant's Quarter where The Twilight Anarchy began, run by Bill One Eyed Murgatroyd with the goliath bouncer Ansgar the Giant. Local guides end their tours at the trap door through which Braggum was pushed. In February 2025 the party killed Lord Cedric and the Silent Echo there.

This anchor, a relic from its more nautical past, now serves a new purpose, bracing a beam and adding character to the tavern's rustic charm.

At the heart of the tavern is Bill "One-Eyed" Murgatroyd, a grizzled ex-pirate turned bartender, whose larger-than-life presence fills the room. Bill, with his distinctive eye patch and a head bald by choice or fate, is known for spinning the most outrageous and hilarious tales, drawing patrons from near and far. His facial tattoos and muscular build hint at a life of adventure and danger, now traded for the camaraderie and laughter found within the tavern's walls.
