The Shards
Place Campaign 2Fort Obsidian's former bailey, now gardens, theatres and a sports arena.
The Shards is a former bailey of Fort Obsidian turned into gardens, with few buildings: several restaurants, a theatre, an opera house and a sporting arena. The arena, the Omen Ring, hosts exhibition matches and a few leagues in sports from pankration and jai alai to ostrich jousts and races. Opera Obsidian was showing the acclaimed comedy The Sneeze of the Weasel, and the Mythic Theatre The Offering, a dramatic retelling of how Heishen the First ended the war with The Beastlands by establishing the monthly livestock tithe, to mixed reviews. The elite troops of Creatis keep their wyvern mounts in roosts here.
