The Stargate Amphitheatre
Place Campaign 4Rillachor's amphitheatre, whose walls hold the city's crystal diary and which is itself a crashed stargate.
The Stargate Amphitheatre lies in Rillachor, beneath Sandwater Slough. Crystals set in its walls form the city's administrative diary; its last entries hold formulae for engineering across material realities, alchemy and fluid dynamics, and mark the terraforming that The Star Scorpion Guild delivered about 150 years before the diary ends, the work behind The Great Evaporation of 1019 PC. The party found that the amphitheatre is itself a giant stargate, once suspended above the ground: magic brass encasing something stronger, its mechanisms intact except for the chains whose failure crashed it to earth. They wondered whether the iron anchors of Three Anchors Square once held those chains, and concluded that the elves who built it had pierced Herentor's spell, with consequences.
Also known as Rillachor Stargate, the stargate.
