The forgemaster

Forgemaster Olover, the 19th Forgemaster of Austerity, a volunteer for 15 years, indicated that the Forge's effect can't be poured into a person rather than an item. The party learned more of The Rookery College's staff.

The party's to-do list: decide what to do with The Damaged Scrying Orb in their bag of holding, which Duhm wanted; find the two missing parts of the Pact Primeval spell, one perhaps with Shoshana; find the Magus of Scribble's college, missing for months after visions of mechanical creatures swarming the college (a Great Modron March?); visit the Feywild; use the Forge; check on the Red Bubble, where a Sending found only a massive crater and no artifact; and personal goals, including Xosomasaux's election plans and Ebony's connection with Slagathor.

Scribble set his Magen to maintain the Longhand tower in the City of Birds (Castle Scribble), help Woodchop with the cult of Quorlinn, liaise with the college, and stay loyal to the Confederacy.
