The Cordata is a transit ferry captained by the half-elf Holden Smit. Its run links Luggard Dror, Reefwatch, the archaeological dig at The Ruins of Oghma's Academy and Vistas Landing, with a further stop at a coastal village south of Vistas Landing on Saratan. The crossing from Luggard Dror to Reefwatch usually takes about ten days, with a day's stop at each port for supplies; the legs are two days from Reefwatch to the dig, one day on to Vistas Landing and four from there to Luggard Dror. It was slower after the dig stop was added; it once ran in seven days.
In 1034 PC the dockmaster Venwyn Twisthold kept it in port until the dig's missing supplies were found. Travellers could charter their own vessel instead, or wait for one of the Saratan oaken barques, though few had called at Reefwatch lately on their trips to The Beastlands.
