The Shrine of the Last

The Shrine of the Last is a covered pavilion with bamboo partitions on The Echelon in Fort Obsidian. In a sunken section at its centre floats a large obsidian cube, hovering just off the ground with many pieces missing: the condensed remains of Mol'maroch The Nethershaper and the source of the Shards of Obsidian. It is heavily guarded by troops, by a bugbear unit called the Servants of the Last, and by two powerful dragonkin on chains. Scribble visited it in 1034 PC and learned it was where Herentor had cast her great spells.
