Vald Keep

Vald Keep is a prison and port of The Therian Confederacy, with an arena in a natural shaft. Prisoners arrested in The City of Birds by Arius Hawksoul and his kenku partner Door Slam are drugged and shipped there. The arcanist Suriel the Glorious, with hair of molten platinum, runs "Experiments" there, reflecting Theria's research into undead power. Prisoner factions are led by Jisthelek the Grasping (goblins) and Xanthe Jonquil (humans); the guards answer to Drusus Skull-Skewer.

It is a stop on the six-week circular sea route out of "the island". No record says whether the party went there in play.
