The bubble city

Inside the bubble the party explored a city. A draconic letter from Saber to his brother Clef told Clef to stay and guard the city: once they had the Fork "it'll be like nothing happened". Olaf dragged the vampire Clef Neverthirst outside, where he burned to dust, and Scribble scooped up the dust. On the barracks wall was written in blood, in Draconic: "it never ends brother, Neverthirst".

Clef's diary described life under a red sky, ten years of night, time passing differently inside the bubble, the imps that powered it (which the party had destroyed), the deal for extended lives that Saber had got the better of, and Clef's slide into madness. It also revealed that Meradana had promised to keep the forest alive. Other finds: a pendant crest of a lantern under fog; steel plates in Draconic on genetic manipulation in the camps; observatory telescopes; a dispelling stone; and a vial of etherealness. Ebony learned of druids from Vistas Landing lost while seeking a shipwreck north of Mahavana (Mahovana), and of the Water Ashari. There was a teleportation portal in the conservatory of Mahavana.

The party received a verse: "Twice the Seas broken, One City Reclaimed. All camps of our Kin: betrayers. Endless Fiends abound."

The bubble city was Mahovana, in the Shell of The Red Wastes; the party's guide among the camps was Tanari.
