The Dottenland Revolution
Event Campaign 3About twenty years before 1040 PC, in the ruin after the Skyfire, the Dottenland overthrew its drow monarchy and became the republic of Potenxia.
The Dottenland Revolution overthrew the drow dynasty that had ruled The Dottenland as a militaristic, caste-bound society built on slavery. It followed the Ruination after The Skyfire, when aberrant kaiju destroyed the Dottenland's navy and overran its armies. The underclass rose, the royal family was largely executed, and a democracy was declared. The country took the name Potenxia, from the slaves' language, meaning "never again".
The campaign 3 party dated the revolution to about twenty years before 1040 PC. In Rookfall, the capital, a council of ministers now governs from The Sovereign Hall, and loyalists flee the "Proletariat inquisitions". The perpetual twilight of The Veil of Letherna over the city is a legacy of the old monarchy. Secret powers still vie for control of the republic.
