The Golden Envelope belongs to the Baron. It was stolen by a patron of The Ember Parlour, and the party recovered it from the estate's cellar during the gala of 2026-03-18. It bears the King in Yellow's seal; the party chose not to open it, which turned out to be the Baron's loyalty test. Inside is his infernal contract with the King in Yellow, the deal behind his curse and his gold. He needs the second copy destroyed to be free. Slick's bracelet bears symbols very like the seal.
