Marya Velcrow
NPC Campaign 4Very pale high elf with a displaced voice, rumoured owner of the Gilded Maw and the Baron's operator, who seems to be watching Rainclaw.
Marya Velcrow, who goes by Vel (the party calls her "Velcro"), is a very pale, five-foot high elf whose breathy, slow, deliberate voice seems to come from about four inches below her mouth. She is the rumoured owner of The Gilded Maw.
She was the cloaked figure at the Baron's side when the party returned The Golden Envelope, and she brokered the 2,000 gp contract to clear the aberrations below Sandwater Slough; she knew that every guard patrol sent into the sewers had vanished. She took over the investigation of the Ember Parlour fire. The party suspects she is spying on Rainclaw without the Baron's say-so, and The SCP distrust her and fear she knows too much about them. Whether she serves the Baron or he serves her is an open question; the table's theory is that "there's multiple" of her.
Also known as Vel, Velcro, Marya Velcro, Mara Velcrow, Mara Vellcrow.
