Shade Hollow

The first session of The Twilight Anarchy, played on the first day of Evening Star, 1040 PC (see Campaign 3 : Intro Vignette).

The party was introduced around Shade Hollow, a tin-mining frontier town on the border of Potenxia (the former Dottenland) and The Burg. Thoren Blackthorn was working his farm when the orphan Lysander brought him a note from Kael Sunstrike asking him to come to The Rusted Anchor. Binkette was at Shadehollow Preparatory College with a boy named Chad. At the Anchor, two tour guides were finishing their tour of the place where Braggum was pushed through a trap door and the journey of The Fatemakers began, and Archivist Seraphina Quill asked after books missing from The Archive of Echoes. In Catos Apothecary, Ono Palevo faced Cato's menagerie of pets, and Reid Ransom was sent with the others to deliver overdue reagents to Beast's Bounty and a salve to Kael's father, Alaric Sunstrike.

The party received a gazetteer by Thalorien Windspeak, The Shattered Earth and Sacred Tombs: Chronicles of the Eastern Dottenland and Northern Burg, with a foreword by Habir of Xinstock. Townsfolk still credit the Fatemaker Bralmur with saving people in the old days.
