Bralmur was a player character in the Skyfire Chronicles (campaign 1) and one of The Fatemakers, the heroes of The Skyfire.

In the Skyfire Chronicles

Bralmur Leadbelt ("Bral") is a dwarf paladin of Helm who swore an Oath of Vengeance; he grew up in the mountains. His story asked whether he would "follow in his father's footsteps"; his father is dust. His celestial buffalo steed is Duskshadow, Heirloom of the Sacred. Before taking up the oath he was a scholar (a sage by background).

Gear: the Pyremaul of Helm; the Dragonsbane Glass Mask, a mask of the Dragon Queen; the Obsidian Flint Dragon Plate; and Bralmur's Folding Boat, a folding boat refitted as a spelljammer.

His uncle Jokit, the Left Hand of Helm, lost his arm to the Everbright seal beneath Kheledzund and passed Bral the Pyremaul of Helm. From the black scales of Sim Bral got his Obsidian Flint Dragon Plate. He was intimate with Seven of The Psycore until the party's mind-wiping in Xinstock, when he "broke up with 7" and killed a witness to keep the story quiet.

He died in July 2020, crushed by a giantess, and went missing after Delin's death that September, but he was back by 2021, with an Avenging Angel form that finished The Thing of Sadness. He once nearly crushed a polymorphed Cirella with the pyremaul when the party tried to convince him a cabbage was a god.

After The Skyfire, Jarren's Outpost in The Burg kept a cult of "Leadbelt the Saviour", and some said a Fatemaker himself lent it the strength to survive. Two decades later, in campaign 3, people still thought it was down to Bralmur that they had survived.

That worship gave Bral divine power of his own, and he took over from his uncle Jokit as The Everbright. A statue of him, "Leadbelt the saviour", has begun to emerge among the godlings on God Street. What he will become is anyone's guess.

The letter from his father

His father, OverBlade Voddar Leadbelt, died while Bral was away and left him a letter. The Watcher had given Voddar a service that could never be finished, keeping the Everbright (The Everbright); Bral's education in it had been by design, but he had left home too young to learn "the path below". Voddar asked him to reset the seals protecting the undercities from the Dark Mind, to seek out his uncle Jokit, who knew how, and to remember the Doctrine of the One True Vision. The party's notes list Bral's threads as the Everbright, the dwarf city's troubles (abyssal incursions and a hostile drow city), shiny shields, an ancient forge and the Leadbelt family.
